Q. What is the Giving Returns Program?

A. The Giving Returns Program is focused on helping local merchants connect with consumers via email marketing and the Internet. The Giving Returns Program is the medium that allows the merchant to connect with their existing customers as well as attract new customers.

Q. Is there a fee to become a member of the Giving Returns Program?

A. Absolutely not. It's free!

Q. What are the benefits of the Giving Returns Card?

As a card-carrying Giving Returns member, you'll be part of a select group of customers who are invited to share in exclusive offers and extra savings. Everyone gets a great deal with the Giving Returns card. Just check the Giving Returns directory for participating merchants.

Q. How do I get a membership card after I register?

A. Just visit a local merchant in the Giving Returns directory or contact a local nonprofit. They will have a free card available for you.

Q. Will I receive emails from other third parties?

A. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Giving Returns values you as a customer and respects your privacy. We REFUSE to give or loan your email address to any third party. To disclose your email address to third parties that you do not wish to receive email from would defeat the purpose of the Giving Returns program. The only emails you will receive are from the Giving Returns Program and from participating merchants that you have selected.

Q. How often will I receive offers from individual merchants?

A. Depending upon what special offers they have, anywhere from one to four offers a month per merchant.

Q. Do I have to sign up with all the individual businesses?

A. No. Upon registering you will be given a unique Giving Returns Member ID (GRID). From that point on, you will simply enter your GRID when you want to interact with a new merchant. Once you become a Giving Returns member, you have access to all of the merchants’ hot deals. You will only sign up with merchants whose specific eClub you’d like to join in order to receive their exclusive deals.

Q. How can businesses offer such good deals through you?

A. Businesses are able to tap into the cost effectiveness provided by the Internet. This means they can offer better deals more often and pass on their advertising savings to you.
